- South African: ballot from August 4, 2027 to August 15, 2027From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Cape Town time (2026). Ultra and half, 21,000 places each.
- Results on August 17, 2027By email. Selected: pay before noon on 31 August (2026), or the place is lost.
- For the ultra, qualifyAn official marathon or longer, run within the required time, for all runners.
