Your personal data
- No account: the site asks for no name or address to look up dates.
- Your preferences stay on your device: the km or miles choice and the light or dark theme are kept in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to us.
- Hosting: Vercel receives the IP address of each visit, which is needed to send you the pages. Vercel takes part in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses standard contractual clauses, according to its privacy policy of 1 June 2026.
- Fonts: they are hosted on the site. No request is made to Google or any other service.
- No cookies, no ads on these pages.
- Anonymous visit statistics with Vercel Web Analytics: number of visits, pages viewed, country and device type, counted without cookies and without tracking anyone across sites.
The contact form
- Controller: Stéphane R., publisher of the site.
- What is sent: the subject, the guide concerned if you give it, your message and your email. Your IP address is passed to the sending service.
- Why: to reply to you and fix the guides. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in handling the requests we receive (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). No commercial use.
- Who receives it: Web3Forms (Web3Creative, India), which forwards the message by email. It hosts it with Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, and passes the IP address and email to the CleanTalk and Akismet spam filters. Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
- How long: we keep the exchange for 1 year after our last reply. At Web3Forms, the message is deleted at the latest 3 years after it was sent (its privacy policy of 13 July 2026).
